Samurai battles of the Sengoku Jidai era played using the Peter Pig’s Battles in the Age of War rules for large scale battles with 10mm figures and modified Song of Blades and Heroes rules for skirmish battles in 28mm.
The first 10mm figures I ever bought and painted, I have completed only a single 8 stand unit of Armored Ashigaru, so there’s a lot more to go. Since I’m the only one building 10mm, I’ll have to build two armies: the goal, then is to complete two standard 800-point armies. I still haven’t decided on whether to make them all “generic” clans or use specific, historical ones (in which case I’m leaning towards the Takeda and Uesugi, naturally).
In the meantime, I have been playing this game with my friends using their borrowed 15mm armies.
I’ve also got an absolutely gorgeous collection of expertly painted, individually-based 28mm figures that I use for skirmish-level gaming. They are the pride of my collection!
