Hi there. I sheepishly return to my blog, thinking once again that this time for sure I will start blogging on a regular basis. Sigh…

I finally sat down with a couple of “How to Learn WordPress” eBooks I bought and started looking at this in a new light. I’m particularly interested because it seems to be the easiest and best way for me to actually interface with my web presence from my iPad. I also think I can get rid of a lot of my online chaff and superfluity by consolidating here.

But there’s been so much going on lately, or at least this year so far. Here’s a bullet-point list of random, current-ish things:

• Played 2 rounds of real golf so far: our IHTNFL tourney on Super Bowl Sunday and my first time in “The Disasters” last weekend @ Scholl Canyon (Glendale, CA). I’m still pretty much as bad as ever, but always enthusiastic…
• Some great anime viewing this year, including Summer Wars, the complete Hikaru no Go (which will always be my favorite), Antique Bakery (which I liked even more than I thought I would) and just last night finished a surprisingly awesome show, Honey and Clover. Others include Heroic Age, Junjou Romantica 2, Ultra Maniac, Eden of the East Movie 1: The King of Eden, Dan Doh!! The Super Shot!, and many more. Maybe reviews coming here someday…?
• The project I’ve been working on since July ’09 finally launched and wrapped up. Lack of decisions on continuing funding meant, sadly, that all the contractors in the group were laid off–except for me (whew…). I’m here officially through May, hopefully longer.

So there’s something, anyway. This weekend–if I’m ambitious enough–I plan to back up and convert anything I’m interested in saving from Tumblr. I’ve had it with their constantly up-and-down performance and it’s mostly a distraction. I’ll bring anything I keep over and post it here under the original dates.
