July 22, 2008 – It was raining in Sapporo, so I used my rail pass to travel a bit. I was POURING in Otaru, so I only saw the station! Hakodate was really interesting though, and it’s unusual in being filled with historical, western-style buildings from the Meiji era. Oh yeah—I took lots of train pictures too…
